About Borsec Town Hall

What the Town Hall Does

Borsec Town Hall manages the day-to-day administration of the town and provides public services to the local community. The Mayor is supported by the Deputy Mayor, the Secretary General and the Town Hall’s administrative staff. Together, they implement decisions adopted by the Local Council and orders issued by the Mayor, in accordance with Article 154(2) of Government Emergency Ordinance No. 57/2019.

About Borsec

Borsec is located in the Eastern Carpathians, in the north-east of Harghita County, at an altitude of approximately 850–930 metres. The town lies in a mountain basin surrounded by the Giurgeu, Bistrița and Călimani Mountains. Its mineral springs have played a central role in Borsec’s development and established the town as one of Romania’s historic spa resorts.
