Twin towns
Ten towns in Hungary and Slovakia twinned with Borsec.
Cooperation or partnerships with local administrative units in other countries must be approved by a Local Council decision, with the prior endorsement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Articles 89 and 129(9) of Government Emergency Ordinance No. 57/2019).
The twinning partnerships listed below support school, cultural and sports exchanges, reciprocal participation in town celebrations, and projects funded through cross-border programmes.
